Questions, answered

What women ask before they book.

Nothing here answers your question? Write to us directly at cdsarkozi@gmail.com — every inquiry is read personally.

What exactly do you do?

In the months before your baby arrives, we design the life you're about to walk into: your home, your recovery, your daily routines, your leave, your return to work. Practically, that looks like a room-by-room home audit, a written fourth-trimester plan, recovery and childcare sequencing, and one person who holds the whole picture with you. Think concierge consulting, not another appointment.

Isn't this what a childbirth class or doula does?

Classes prepare you for labor. Doulas offer hands-on support around the birth itself. We prepare you for everything that happens after you come home — the six weeks, the six months, and the return to work — and we do it in advance. The result is structural: your home, your calendar, and your systems actually change before the baby arrives.

Is this covered by insurance?

We are an out-of-network private practice by design. It lets us give you unhurried, personalized, discreet care without the constraints of insurance billing. Superbills are available for potential out-of-network reimbursement, and HSA and FSA are typically accepted.

How does remote consulting work?

Sessions happen over private video, voice, or secure messaging — on your schedule, from wherever you are. Between sessions, you have direct access to your consultant. Fully remote means we meet you in the actual environment we're helping you design.

I don't have time for another appointment.

That is precisely the point. Most of our clients start feeling relief inside the first session because we're subtracting from your day, not adding to it. Sessions are flexible, asynchronous options are available, and every recommendation is designed to save you time — not consume it.

When is the best time to start?

The earlier the better. Most clients begin between 20 and 34 weeks — that window gives us the most runway to design the home, the recovery plan, the leave, and the return to work while you still have energy and time. We also take on clients late in the third trimester and in early postpartum when it's the right fit.

What are your credentials?

Chandler is a licensed occupational therapist (OTR/L) trained at Concordia University Wisconsin with 10+ years of experience across early childhood, nutrition, women's health, maternal mental health, and pediatric development. Occupational therapy is the discipline behind this work — it's the field trained to look at the entirety of a person's day and redesign it to function.
