Why this work exists

The parts of preparing for a baby no one is helping you carry.

01

You've read every book — and still feel unprepared.

The books tell you what happens. Nobody tells you how your particular life, home, and career actually change to hold a baby.

02

The registry is done. The plan isn't.

You've bought the gear and toured the hospital. What you don't have is a plan for the first six weeks at home, or the six months after that.

03

Your home isn't set up for the life you're about to live.

The nursery, the kitchen, the workspace, the recovery zone — most homes weren't designed for feeding, healing, and working from them. Yours can be.

04

Maternity leave feels like a black box.

You know the start date and the end date. What happens in between — recovery, feeding, sleep, identity, marriage — is unmapped.

05

Return-to-work is already on your mind.

A demanding role, travel on the calendar, pumping to build in. You want to design it now — while you still have time and energy — not the week before.

06

You used to be so competent.

You've read the books, hired the experts, joined the groups. You don't want more information. You want one person who can see it all and build the plan with you.

When to begin

The earlier we start, the more we can build before the baby arrives.

Almost all of this work is easier before birth than after. Preparation is the whole point — the fourth trimester is not the time to be designing your life.

Weeks 12–20

The ideal beginning

Nothing is urgent yet, which is exactly why it works. We map the whole arc — home, leave, recovery, childcare, career — while there is still runway to do it calmly.

Weeks 20–34

When most women start

The sweet spot. Enough certainty to plan in detail, enough time and energy to actually build the systems before the third trimester closes in.

34 weeks–birth

Still very possible

We prioritize ruthlessly: the fourth-trimester plan, the recovery setup, the first two weeks at home. Focused, fast, and enough to change how it feels.

Client stories

Women who prepared, and walked into motherhood already steady.

"We started in my second trimester. By the time I went into labor, the house, the leave, the recovery plan — all of it was ready. I didn't spend the fourth trimester scrambling."

"The books tell you what to expect. She helped guide me with what to do, in my life, with my schedule and my partner. I've never been so prepared for anything."
Partner at a law firm · New York, NY
"The most valuable investment we made before the baby came — more than any gear, class, or hospital bag. I walked in feeling like myself. I walked out still feeling like myself."
